Dr. Muralinath. E, Singh H. S., Vijay Digamber D, Shraddha D, Lalit Kumar S, Kalyan C., Archana Jain, Guruprasad M.

Abstract

Mammary gland abscesses can occur in humans, pisinfmg significant discomfort and health risks if left treated.  These abscesses are typically caused by bacterial infections, leading to inflammation, pain and the formation of pus filled pockets within the breast tissue. Treatment includes Antibiotics, Analgesics, Anti -inflammatory agents and immune modulators. Supportive therapy is meant for promoting healing and preventing complications. Finally, it is concluded that it is important to note that drug therapy alone may not be sufficient to treat severe cases of mammary gland abscesses.  In such instances, surgical intervention may be necessary to drain the abscess and remove infected tissue.
