A Fundamental Parameters of Herpes Simplex Virus Type - I Include Etiology, Epidemiology, Patho Physiology, Histo Pathology, Diagnosis, Different Diagnosis, Treatment and Prognosis
Abstract
Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is a linear dsDNA virus that is a member of the Alphaherpesviridae subfamily. HSV-1 plays an important role regarding establishment of primary and recurrent vesicular eruptions, primarily in the orolabial and genital mucosa. Ocular HSV infection, herpes encephalitis, Kaposi varicelliform eruption (eczema herpeticum), orolabial herpes, herpes sycosis (HSV folliculitis), herpes gladiatorum, herpetic whitlow, and severe or chronic HSV infection are just a few of the many manifestations of HSV-1 infection. Antiviral treatment limits how long an HSV infection can last. This activity explains about the evaluation, and treatment herpes simplex virus type 1 and reviews the role of the interprofessional team regarding evaluation and treatment of patients along with this condition.
