A comprehensive study tour of Van Vihar of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India

Abstract


Forest plays a significant role for the conservation of allied species of flora and fauna. Both flora and fauna are in Madhya Pradesh India. Van Vihar was declared as a national park in 1979 which covers an area for the maintenance of the ecological balance of ecosystem. Van Vihar  is situated in the heart city of Bhopal, about 4.45 km2 which later modified into modern zoological park. In this national park, Animals are kept in near natural habitats. Van Vihar is seems to be a unique code because it access from a road through the park, and walls, and chain-link fencing protect the animals from poachers while providing natural habitat. As we know Fauna are seems to be an important part of our lives and the earth. In forest ecosystem, different types of animals having different category depend on the places they live. In forest, there are over 60,000 different tree species in the world and natural forests can be made up of tens, hundreds or even thousands of different species. The objective of this study was to enumerate the role of Van Vihar in the protection and conservation of flora and fauna of protected area located in the heart city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
