Solar Power – A Renewable and Alternate Energy Resource

S. P. Swaminathan, G. Iyer

Abstract

Renewable energy is sustainable as it is obtained from sources that are unlimited (unlike fossil fuels). Renewable energy sources comprise wind, solar, biomass, geothermal and hydro, all of which occur obviously. Renewable energy is clean energy and non-polluting.  Several forms do not discharge any greenhouse gases or noxious waste in the process of producing electricity. It is a sustainable energy source that can be relied on for the long-standing. Renewable energy is money-making and proficient.
